- **`payTo` differs by network** — read it from the `accepts` entry you choose. Solana pays `7LSjfrJf8fNsB8VA9u7N3WEn25smQLpob3SvyUvXacy7`; Base pays `0xf8A376eBF123D7252cd7b66bcD77A727a4def22f`.
- On Base: **USDC** `0x833589fCD6eDb6E08f4c7C32D4f71b54bdA02913` (6 decimals). Base is **facilitator-only** — send `payload.transaction` (EIP-3009 authorization); there is no self-submitted path on that network.
- On Solana, assets accepted:

- Price: **10000 atomic units = $0.01 USD per guide.** 22 of 24 guides are paid; 2 are free.
- Settlement: either route works — send `payload.transaction` and we settle through an x402 facilitator (standard, works with stock clients), or submit your own transfer and redeem with `payload.session`.
- **Settlement is not instant.** After paying, retry the request. It typically takes 3–4 attempts over 10–20 seconds for the payment to be indexed. A 402 saying "payment not found on-chain yet" means keep retrying — it does not mean your payment failed.
- License: `LicenseRef-Saylor-Agent-Use-1.0` — permissive on USE (including in agent output and downstream answers), restrictive on REDISTRIBUTION of the full body.

Each 402 response carries a unique `extra.reference` and a signed `extra.session`. Include the reference as a read-only account in your USDC transfer, then retry with `X-PAYMENT: base64({x402Version:2, payload:{session, reference}})`. The reference binds a payment to its quote, which is what prevents replay.
